The Book Cellar at the Page & Palette in Fairhope has become a frequent stop for meeting friends, attending author events, and enjoying live entertainment. It’s casual and cozy with a nice, full bar, TVs for watching sports, comfortable lazy boys just in front of the stage, and plenty of high-top tables to take in whatever they have going on that day or night.

Molly Thomas, a gifted musician herself, usually tends the bar on Monday nights and the Book Cellar is one of the few spots with live music on Mondays. Get there early if you want the comfy seats! You can wander around Page & Palette’s bookstore and gift shop between sets. You are pretty much guaranteed to see old friends there. If your Friend Book still has a few openings, the Book Cellar is a great place to make new ones.

The Book Cellar has a good night vibe. I like the “easy hours.” Arrive early, enjoy the entertainment, and be home in bed at a reasonable hour. Just my style. The author's events are always great. Go to the website to see what’s coming. Anchoring down the corner of Section Street and De La Mare, Page & Palette is the place to be!
