Reese’s Senior Bowl: February 3

Senior Bowl, Hancock Whitney Stadium, Mobile, AL

The 2023/2024 football season is winding down and will culminate in Super Bowl LVII next Sunday evening. For college football fans, The Senior Bowl is a game like no other, showcasing the country’s best senior collegiate football players and NFL Draft prospects for the final time. Headquartered in Mobile since 1951, The Senior Bowl offers fans a unique experience with practices at Hancock Whitney Stadium open to the public all week long, a Mardi Gras Player Parade on February 2, and a post-game concert at Mardi Gras Park featuring the Counting Crows after the scheduled parades.

Hiss Golden Messenger: February 23

Hiss Golden Messenger, Soul Kitchen, Mobile, AL

Hiss Golden Messenger was formed in 2007 in Durham, NC by singer-songwriter MC Taylor and has released fifteen total albums since their debut album in2009, including 2019’s Grammy-nominated Terms of Surrender.  At the same time, Hiss Golden Messenger has been a regular sight on the festival circuit and toured across the country several times over. Their current tour stops at Mobile’s Soul Kitchen on February 23 in support of their Jump for Joy album, released in 2023. Don’t miss the chance to see Hiss Golden Messenger deftly intertwine heartfelt lyrics with folk-rock melodies for a distinctive style of Americana.

32nd Annual Orange Beach Seafood Festival and MAAC Car Show: February 24

Orange Beach Seafood Festival and MAAAC Car Show, The Wharf, Orange Beach, AL

This year's Seafood Festival will feature a full day of delicious food, 100arts and crafts booths, music for the whole family to enjoy, a Kids' Zone with activities, and a huge car show - featuring antique, classic, and hot rod vehicles all along Main Street. This year, Jeeps will join the show and will be on display on Wharf Parkway on either side of Marlin Circle.

Mobile Boat Show: February 23 – February 25

Mobile Boat Show: Mobile Convention Center, Mobile, AL

The Mobile Boat Show is the #1 Boat Show in Alabama and the 2024 event will feature a great selection of boats, motors, personal watercraft, and marine accessories. In addition to a huge selection of boats, there are special events for the whole family to enjoy such as Trout Pond Fishing, Twiggy the Skiing Squirrel, Kids Fishing 101, Live Music, and much more. Adult tickets are $12 online and $15 at the door and Kids 15 and under enter FREE!

Pensacon 2024: February 23 – February 25

Pensacon, Multiple Venues, Pensacola, FL

Pensacon is the Gulf Coast’s premier pop culture convention celebrating the worlds of science fiction, fantasy, horror, comic books, cosplay, animation, video games, books, and much, much more. The three-day event draws tens of thousands to downtown Pensacola and takes place across multiple venues, including the Pensacola Bay Center, Pensacola Cultural Center, Rex Theatre, Pensacola Museum of Commerce, and the De Luna Event Space.
