Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival: Summer Festival, May 31 – June 26

ESCMF (Multiple Venues), Baldwin County, AL

Eastern Shore Chamber Music Festival artists perform live, mesmerizing classical chamber concerts at venues all along the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay. The ESCMF Summer Festival series continues through June 26, pairing contemporary chamber music with masterworks from the chamber repertoire. Tickets are free and open to the public. World Championship Turkey Calling Contest: June 7 – 8

World Championship Turkey Calling Contest, Mobile, AL

Many of the country’s top turkey callers are eagerly awaiting the chance to show off their talents at the Mobile Convention Center June 7-8. The World Championship Turkey Calling Contest has long-time ties to the city of Mobile. The inaugural event was held in Mobile in 1940 at the Battle House Hotel when Mr. Fred T. Stimpson took home top honors. Former world champions will judge the competition in which male and female competitors will be given a turkey-calling situation to replicate using air and friction calls. The contest will feature various age groups (from 10 and under to Senior and Open) competing for the world title in their respective divisions.

11th Annual Flora-Bama Fishing Rodeo: June 7 – 9

Flora- Bama Fishing Rodeo, Perdido Key, FL

The 'Funnest' Fishing Tournament on the Gulf Coast - the Flora-Bama's Annual Fishing Rodeo is the "Every Mans" fishing rodeo! The Fishing Rodeo is a 3-day Captain's Choice tournament with anglers competing for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in 30 categories from Catfish to Billfish, including red snapper and spearfishing categories. Accompanying the tournament will be a three-day beach party and awards ceremony that will include daily weigh-ins with a fish viewing area, live music, great food, vendor booths, and hospitality done in true Flora-Bama fashion!

World Ocean Day: Perdido Key, FL

World Ocean Day is here again! Saturday, June 8th, 2024, will be an unforgettable day of fitness, family-friendly activities, beach vendors and fun! Bliss Yoga will start the morning with a Free Beach Yoga session at Perdido Key Beach Access #4, followed by story-time for the kids, vendors at the beach, and activities, and the day will conclude with an ocean-themed family movie at the Southwest Library Branch on Gulf Beach Highway!  The Chamber along with multiple partner organizations is excited to highlight and recognize World Ocean Day on Saturday, June 8th, 2024. All activities will run between 7:30 AM to 2:00 PM and are completely FREE to attend.

53rd Annual Pensacola International Billfish Tournament: June 12 – 16

Pensacola International Billfish Tournament, Pensacola, FL

The Pensacola Big Game Fishing Club will host its 53rd Annual Pensacola International Billfish Tournament. The tournament entry fee is $3,000.00 Per Boat ( 4 Anglers ) and Each Additional Angler is $150. Teams can pre-register via the Catch Stat app, our website pbgfc.com, and in person on Wednesday, June 12th, at the Captain’s meeting Presented by Balance Brands and held at The Museum of Commerce. The awards banquet will be held at 10 am at Heritage Hall in the Seville Quarter.
